2 tbsp milk

Lemon

Put a few couple of drops of lemon juice into the raw milk. A pinch of turmeric can also be added. Put the mixture evenly on your neck and face. Keep it on for 15 minutes or until it’s dry, then rinse it with water.

Milk, rose petals and honey

Milk is rich in lactic acid. It helps in removing all the dead skin cells and also promotes skin lightening. Its natural AHA moisturizes the skin. Honey being an emollient, binds moisture to our skin. It also regulates the skin’s pH level and cleans the pores.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp raw milk

1 tbsp raw honey

8-10 fresh rose petals

Method:

Place both the rose petals and milk into a grinder and grind to get a creamy consistency. Add the honey into this paste. Apply the pack to your face and neck. Wash it off after 10-15 minutes.

Milk, turmeric, and sandalwood

Turmeric has anti-oxidant and antiseptic properties, which keep a check on melanin secretion. Fatty acids present in turmeric reduce oil control. It also acts as a natural sunscreen.

Milk which acts as a natural exfoliate, combined with turmeric, works wonders for skin brightening.

1 tsp turmeric powder

2 tbsp raw milk

1 tsp sandalwood powder

Milk and licorice

Licorice or mulethi contains an antioxidant named glabridin which helps fight melasma and pigmentation and can be an amazing aid for skin brightening.  Glabridin inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that causes pigmentation and promotes skin lightening. Hence it is recommended to use licorice powder for skin lightening along with other ingredients like milk for enhanced results.

Simply mix both ingredients and make a thick paste. Apply on your face and neck. Wait for 20 minutes and wash it away with plain water. Repeat twice a week.
