Method: Mix 2 tsp of Gram flour (besan) with 3-4 tbsp of Cucumber Juice, ½ tbsp of lemon juice, and 1 tbsp of honey. Make a paste and apply the affected area and let it dry for 15 minutes. Rinse with water and pat dry.

2. Turmeric Milk Cream (Malai) Pack

The anti-inflammatory qualities of turmeric help soothe and calm your skin and reduce acne marks. The compound curcumin is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce excess production of melanin thus helping to control pigmentation. Milk cream helps nourish and moisturize the skin and adds luster to dry and dull skin. In case you have oily skin you can use milk instead of milk cream.

Method: Mix 1 tsp of organic turmeric powder with 3-4 tbsp of milk cream. Make a paste and spread evenly all over your skin. Wait for 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.

3. Licorice (Mulethi) Face pack

Licorice is frequently used in Ayurveda for both health as well as beauty-related issues. It contains an active compound named glabridin, which inhibits an enzyme called tyrosinase, that causes pigmentation post-sun exposure. There is one more compound called liquiritin, which helps to dissolve and remove the previously existing melanin from the skin. It can be safely used as a natural alternative to hydroquinone.

Method: Mix  2 tsp of licorice powder, 3 tsp of cucumber juice, and a pinch of turmeric. Make a smooth paste and apply it to the skin. Wait for 20 minutes and wash off with water.

4. Fuller’s Earth (Multani Mitti) Face Pack

Most women swear by the beauty benefits of fuller’s earth.  It contains aluminum silicate which absorbs excess oil from the skin and can be an excellent remedy for those prone to constant oily skin issues.
