Spread the love

Splurging on media hyped-about products is a very common occurrence for me, but with Clinique Moisture Surge it was a little different. It turns out that this time my purchase was truly justified since this product actually did what it claims to do. So, today I will be sharing a detailed Clinique moisture surge review for your reference.

Product Description

This cream has a lightweight, oil-free formula that goes deep inside the skin and provides skin with long-lasting hydration for up to 100 hours. It contains Auto-Replenishing Technology so skin can create its own internal water source to continually rehydrate itself and then locks in moisture for an endlessly plump-, healthy-looking glow.

Key Ingredients

Sodium Hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid): It is the salt form of hyaluronic acid. It plumps skin with hydration and lightens fine lines as well as wrinkles. It improves the firmness of the skin making it appear smoother than before.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract: Aloe vera has been used for centuries to soothe skin afflicted from sunburn. It replenishes the skin with essential vitamins and moisture.

Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract: It helps soothe the skin and calm irritation. Provides protection against skin’s aging and improves hydration. It can also help unclog pores and fight acne.

Packaging

The cream itself has light pink-peach color and is packaged in a sea-green color cardboard box. The product comes enclosed in an elegant transparent bottle. It would be great if the company can also provide a spoon/ spatula to use the cream. Digging fingers directly into the cream can make it unhygienic.

How To Use Clinique Moisture Surge

Clean your face and neck properly. Take some amount of the cream and massage it lightly. It can be used on its own when at home. You can also use it below makeup.

My Experience

I have tried many moisturizing creams in the past but always wanted to try Clinique moisture surge since I had heard so many good reviews about it. It’s been two months since I started using the cream. It has a light pink-peach color and does not have any strong fragrance. I tend to use it immediately after my bath. Only a slight massage is needed and cream sinks in your skin within seconds. The cream does not feel heavy or oily at all. It is very light at the same time does its job of moisturizing very well.

My Recommendation

My skin becomes extremely dry during winters. Applying this cream did help a little but I definitely felt the need for something heavier more moisturizing cream to fight the winter dryness. Since it is light in nature it can be used during summers or monsoons without ending up overly oily-sticky skin. This product is hypoallergenic and free of Fragrance hence even those with sensitive skin can use it. Overall, in case you want a safe, reliable, and effective moisturizer for daily use, Clinique moisture surge would be the right choice. Suitable for almost all skin types.

After using this product for two months I can safely say that although expensive it’s definitely worth the price.
