Most women I know dream of having thick, shiny, and long hair, and I am no different. I just love making different hairstyles to enhance my looks. However, in the process of following the latest hairstyles, I often end up using many harmful chemical-laden hair products and chemical treatments on our hair. To balance this, I try switching to natural products on my scalp, as often as possible. For the past few years, Argan oil has taken the beauty world by storm. Hence I decided to give Hello Nature Argan Oil Shampoo a try. Here is a review of the same.
It comes in a black colored bottle. It has a flip flop cover. The bottle is quite sturdy and compact.
Texture and Fragrance:
The shampoo is transparent white in color. It is neither too thick nor too runny in its consistency. It has a pleasant fragrance and is not too strong. It lathers well, sufficient enough to cleanse the hair.
Hello Nature Argan Oil contains 97.2 % ingredients that are of natural origin. It contains argan oil, which is sourced from Morocco and is extracted from kernels of the argan tree. Argan oil contains fatty acids, vitamin E, and antioxidants which makes it an excellent addition in your beauty routine. In a study, argan oil was found to be especially helpful for hair that has been treated with hair dyes. It not only moisturizes your hair but also helps control frizz and restores its shine. It also contains vitamin E and jojoba oil which helps lock moisture in your hair strands and brings back lost shine.
My experience with Hello Nature Argan Oil Shampoo:
As I have said earlier, I simply love making different hairstyles which sometimes require me to use many chemical-laden hair styling products as well as heat from straighteners. This has caused my hair to look dry and frizzy. I wanted to add something with fewer chemicals, preferably organic to my hair care routine, so decided to try this product.
So far I have used this shampoo twice and both times my hair was slightly oily before wash, due to the humid weather. Hence, I was hoping to get squeaky clean hair post my wash.
I poured some of it on my palm and worked up a quick lather. Applied it on my hair and scalp and massaged for 3-4 minutes, then rinsed as usual with plain water. Post wash I applied a conditioner because hair desperately needed it.
I noticed is that I needed more quantity of shampoo than usual to properly clean my hair. One reason could be that my hair was already quite oily. However, I also felt that the shampoo itself is quite mild which in a way is good for gentle cleaning but to remove extra sebum and dirt, some extra quantity is needed. It did control my frizziness slightly but not completely. Post wash my hair felt soft and shiny. Overall my experience of using this shampoo was decent enough. In my opinion, it is a great shampoo for those who have dry and damaged hair. Those who have extremely oily scalp should stay away from this shampoo, but may try using it during winters. Also, in case you applied hair oil on your hair then it’s best to use some other shampoo for thorough cleansing since it is too mild for heavily oiled hair.
