Onion juice for hair
Onion juice has been used for ages as a useful home remedy to control hair fall and prevent or even reverse hair greying. There are no established studies that exist to support the concept of onions reversing hair greying. However, there is enough number of tried and tested home remedies that have been used over decades to fight hair greying. The build-up of hydrogen peroxide in hair causes the hair to start greying. Onions contain an antioxidant compound called catalase that helps decrease hydrogen peroxide.
Garlic juice for hair
The strong smell and taste of garlic can be a turn-off for some however their usefulness in hair growth is noteworthy. Raw garlic is loaded with a host of nutrients such as vitamin C, Zinc, and calcium all of which are needed for hair growth. It also contains sulfur. The human hair is made up of a protein called keratin which contains high amounts of sulfur. The presence of sulfur imparts hair with elasticity and strength; conversely, its absence causes hair to break and fall out easily. Garlic provides enough sulfur to promote strong hair and prevent unwanted breakage.

Onion and garlic are rich in nutrients and fatty acids that stimulate the scalp and rejuvenate hair follicles. This increases the blood circulation that boosts hair growth, strengthens and nourishes your hair, treating hair loss, bald spots, and alopecia too.
