Dabur Vatika Health Shampoo Review

Spread the love

Dabur is one of the most trusted companies in India. It is also a world leader in Ayurveda-based products. I have so far used many medicinal products made by Dabur however this is the first time I have tried their haircare range. Here is a review of dabur vatika health shampoo based on my first-hand experience.

Features

Dabur vatika health shampoo is enriched with the goodness of natural hair strengthening ingredients like amla, shikakai, almonds, and olives. It can protect your hair against dryness, dandruff, hair fall, split ends, and scalp infections.

Amla: Amla is rich in vitamin c which fights antioxidants and controls hair fall. It also helps prevent early signs of grey hair.

Shikakai(Soap pod): It ensures gentle cleansing of hair and strengthens your hair root. Shikakai also helps calm inflamed scalp and is generally safe for sensitive skin.

Olives: Olives are rich in Vit E which helps increase blood circulation in your scalp and make your hair shinier, stronger, and thicker.

Almonds: They are also rich in Vit E that helps stimulate hair growth. Almonds are a good source of protein, Vit B1 & B6, magnesium, that help in making your hair strong and healthy.

Packaging

Dabur vatika health shampoo comes in a green-colored bottle. This shampoo is also available in a small sachet and is extremely useful while you are traveling.

Texture & Fragrance

This shampoo is green in color. It is neither too thick nor too runny inconsistency. It has a great fragrance and lathers well.

My Experience with Dabur Vatika Health Shampoo

I usually like to oil my hair for at least 1 hour before washing it. I took a small quantity and used some water to lather it. Applied to my hair and massaged it for 1 minute. I felt that it cleansed my hair really well and was able to remove most of the oil right in the first round. Although I always go for two applications for thorough cleansing. So I reapplied the shampoo and again massaged it for 1 minute.  I rinsed my hair and found it to be squeaky clean. Post drying, I felt that a good conditioner is needed because the hair was becoming unmanageable without it. I have dry hair hence it is almost mandatory for me to follow up a shampoo with a conditioner.

The shampoo has a medium consistency and creates enough lather to cover your entire scalp almost instantly. I like this formula since it gives a thorough wash in quite a small quantity.

Dabur Vatika Health Shampoo Review

The shampoo has a nice green-colored medium consistency that glides well on hair and the formula is good enough to create lather quickly. It is also easy to rinse. I like the formula and I only need a small amount of the product each time. You may also like to read: Hello Nature Argan Oil Shampoo Review

In my opinion, you should avoid this shampoo if you have dry hair. People with dry hair can certainly use it during extreme summers for cleansing an oily and sweaty scalp. Those individuals who have oily hair must try out this shampoo. It is quite budget-friendly and provides a thorough wash in just a small amount. This shampoo won’t be useful during winters or for extremely dry or damaged hair types.
