Spiced Chai (Masala Chai)



  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cardamon pod
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 black peppercorns
  • 1-inch stick Cinnamon stick
  • 2 tsp honey or any other sugar alternative
  • ½ cup Milk (non-dairy or dairy depending upon preference.)
  • 1 ½ cup water


Lightly crush all the spices except ginger in a mortar and pestle and keep aside. Boil water in a pan and add all the spices and ginger. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. In a separate pan warm the milk, turn off the flame, and add it to the simmering tea. Let it simmer together for another couple of minutes. Strain and pour in a cup. Add your honey or any sugar alternative and serve hot.

Ginger is a great antiviral and anti-inflammatory. Studies suggest that fresh ginger has anti-viral activity against the human respiratory syncytial virus. Cloves, black pepper, and cinnamon, all are great aids to fight off seasonal colds and help your body stay warm. Cardamom helps relax and fortify the nervous system.


Green Juice



  • 1 Chopped Amla
  • 1 Inch Ginger stick
  •  1 Chopped Carrot
  • 1 Chopped Beetroot
  • ½ cup Chopped Bottle gourd


Add all of them to a blender. Mix some water and blend. Strain the juice and serve topped with lemon juice and crushed black pepper.

Bottle gourd contains many essential nutrients like vitamin b, Vitamin A, iron, potassium, etc. It is a great aid for weight loss due to its high water content and zero fat. Flavored Water



  • 3-4 Mint leaves
  • ½ inch Ginger stick
  • ½ Cut Lemon slices
  • 1 Bottle Filtered Water


Add ginger, mint, and lemon to the bottle first. Now top it with water. Close the bottle cap and let it sit overnight in the fridge. You can take it out from the fridge the next day and enjoy it. Mint is great to fight gas and any kind of digestive issues. Lemon is loaded with vitamin C to fight immunity. Ginger is not only an excellent anti-viral but is also a great digestive aid.


Apple Cider Honey Cayenne Pepper Bomb



  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 heaped tsp Manuka honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ginger juice
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup hot water


Place all the ingredients (except hot water) into a mug with about ¼ cup of room temperature water.

Now pour the hot water and stir. Stir all ingredients till they are well mixed.
